When collecting personal information from users, such as their name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number, RNJ (RosettaNet Japan) shall state to users the purpose for which such information is to be used.
The personal information collected from users shall be appropriately managed by RNJ so as to prevent illegal access, loss, tampering, theft, and leaks, and RNJ shall not use this personal information for purposes other than those stated to users.
RNJ shall not provide personal information collected from users to third parties other than subcontractors, except for legitimate reasons.
When supplying personal information collected from users to a third party working as an RNJ subcontractor, RNJ shall conclude an agreement with the third party prohibiting use of said information for purposes other than those stated to users, leaking of said information, and circulation of said information by the third party.
RNJ may delete a user's personal information once its purpose of use has been achieved and further safekeeping of such personal information is no longer considered necessary.
If a personal information protection policy is indicated for particular content in the RNJ website, this personal information protection policy shall take precedence.
RNJ shall not be held responsible for the protection of personal information contained in other (enterprises' or individuals') websites linked to the RNJ website.
RNJ shall follow the laws of Japan and other regulations related to the protection of user's personal information, and continually revise and improve the contents of the present personal information protection policy.
RNJ shall respond within reason to requests for disclosure, confirmation, and correction of personal information collected from users. Please contact the following office.
